Black mambas are 14 foot long snakes that are faster than Olympic racers. Their venom can kill you in less than 15 minutes. Their favorite attacks are ambushes out of tall, thick grass. So stay out of tall grasses in Africa.
Hyenas and wild dogs hunt in packs, allowing them to take down animals that are much larger than themselves. These animals are buffalo, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, and small giraffes. Since hyenas and wild dogs are in the dog family, they can run at about 20 m.p.h. per hour for hours, allowing them to tire out their prey. Their hunting tactics are some of them bite their preys flanks, while other pack members tear at the animals torso and neck.
