Gorillas are some of natures most well known mammals. They live in Africa’s jungles in troops, led by a adult male; a silver-back. He protects his troop of females and babies from other males.
Gorillas eat leaves and fruits. They forage for food half day, and then take a rest. During this rest, all the baby and juvenile play in the trees and vines. Adults try to play, but they’re too heavy. They mostly just sleep.
Every night, gorillas make new nests to sleep in. Male gorillas build nests and snuggle with their babies in them.
