Tigers

tiger stareTigers are magnificent cats.  They are the largest cats in the world.  There are five species, the Siberian, Bengal, Indonesian, Sumatran, and the rare Caspian.  All five are endangered due to poachers and habitat loss.  There are less than 5,000 of all five species worldwide.  They like to sneak up on their victims form behind.   Some individuals hunt and eat humans.   All species are stupendous swimmers.  Tigers live in Indonesia, India, Burma,  Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet, China, North and South Korea, Russia, Sumatra, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
